Botanicals Rose & Camellia Cleansing Melt

There are so many skincare companies/products out there at the moment that it can sometimes be hard to chose the right one. I always tend to lean towards the ones that use natural ingredients as they tend not to irritate my skin. So it was a great pleasure to review this product from Botanicals.

I'm not usually a fan of facial masks/washes that smell of Rose as I find them overpowering, however this product actually has a very slight scent of Rose & Camellia which is not overpowering at all.

It feels quite oily when you first put it on but you can immediately feel it working into your skin. I even rubbed a small amount over my lips.

On the Botanicals website, it says to use a damp cloth to take the product off but I did not have one with me, so I used warm water to take the melt off instead.

My face felt refreshed and taking a closer look at my skin, I could see that it had really worked into my pores, leaving them clean and make up free ! The only negative point is, that because it worked right into my pores, it actually brought out a big spot too ! Although it did leave my lips feeling softer.

When washing the product off I could really smell the Camellia and even ten minutes after using the melt, I could still smell a slight hint of flowers.

As you can see from the photo, the sample pot looks untouched which is great as it means that it will last for quite a few more face cleanses.

If you would like to try this product, you can purchase it online here.

Botanicals sell this product individually and as part of a 'Try Me' set. The link for the set is here.

Regular sized pot - £16.95
'Try Me' Set (4 products) - £9.50

Within the next week, I will also be reviewing a Clay Mask from Botanicals so stay tuned to read my thoughts on that product too !
