As you can probably tell, I am loving the new site I found recently (beautysets.com) It is a great site that allows you to create posts that look like they have come straight out of a magazine ! It is so simple to use and there are lots of different ideas to help you with your posts. I decided to create a post on items I find essential to carry around in my handbag. I surprised myself with how little makeup I actually carry around with me....

December: Guest Post
The very lovely Brooke at Belts and Bangles has kindly written a great christmas post for my blog this month, which helps us all out with what to wear during the festive season.
Dressing for the Holiday Season Without Looking Like a Christmas Tree
When the holiday spirit comes upon us, it's natural to want to look festive and ready to celebrate the season of giving. At the same time, none of us wants to look like the office or school joke, and we don't want to wear something that will come back to haunt us six months down the road. Here are some tips for choosing everyday holiday apparel that shows your festive side while still remaining classy.
Look for fun ways to incorporate red, green and white
Red, green and white are classic holiday colors that immediately draw the mind to the season. The trick is to incorporate them into your outfits without looking like a Christmas tree. Look for ways to use basic accents such as a scarf or a hat that will look classy and stylish with other outfits. You can look for accents for both indoors and outside, or even a few hats or scarves that can double for both. Green and red scarves will look great with white sweaters, black coats and countless other combinations. White scarves can give you even more options because they'll match nearly every color in your wardrobe and help you add a little wintery flare to your ensemble.
Avoid ugly sweaters (unless you're at a party dedicated to them)
Everyday life isn't the time to bring out that tacky reindeer or Christmas tree sweater your grandmother gave you last year; save it for your neighbor's Ugly Sweater Party! It's far more stylish to instead wear a solid color sweater in red, white or green, which immediately call to mind the season, and perhaps match it with a scarf or hat in one of the other three colors. A flattering red sweater with a green scarf can be a nice outfit for the last few days of work or school before the winter holidays.
Use classy accessories
If you don't think you can make it through the holiday season without some blatant holiday accessories, choose wisely. For a festive celebration, items such as cute ornament earrings can make a nice accessory that will keep you looking ready for the holidays without being too flamboyant. In addition to different earring styles, other options that may be fun are barrettes, bracelets or necklaces. Just remember to keep whatever you choose simple and classy. By incorporating the holiday symbols in small, simple ways you can show your holiday spirit without looking like a holiday card.
The holiday season is a time of good cheer, when everyone's in a good mood and people gather to celebrate the season. It's only natural to want to dress up to show your holiday spirit! Fortunately, by keeping the above tips in mind, you should be able to show your festive side without wearing anything you'll regret when the ground begins to thaw.

It's beginning to look a lot like christmas
I have been absent from the blogging world for a while now. I decided to take up a part time job to earn some extra cash alongside my full time job and have had no time to update my blog, but in true christmas spirit, I have decided to do a blog post on my lifestyle and show you how great my tree and living room looks this year ! (not that i'm gloating or anything!)
My family have always had a christmas tree full of snowmen decorations, each one as cute as the next. I now have a place of my own and decided that my theme would be gingerbread men, so here is a photo of all the gingerbread men I have collected so far;
I had great fun putting my tree up with my mum and we even managed to get some christmas shopping in too. I love special moments and christmas time always gives me a warm, tingly feeling inside.
Do you have any special traditions when it comes to christmas?

The Kardashian Kollection
I know that I am extremely late with this post but I just wanted to give my opinion on the latest Kardashian Kollection craze !
I love the Kardashians. I watch every series and so like most others, I was excited to see that they were launching a new clothes line in the UK. And whats more, it was available to purchase in Dorothy Perkins !
However, I was disappointed with their lack of variety in colour and style. It seems that unless you like black, white, green or leopard print, there isn't much for you.
Out of all the designs available, I only like 2 skirts and a dress. (below) so I am hoping that next season, there are a few more designs to chose from.
Green Crepe Dress
£40.00
Black Lace Skirt
£35.00
Black Bow Skirt
£32.00
I was quite fond of their handbags and purses though. This is my favourite, and one that may even appear on my extended christmas list !
What is your thoughts on the Kardashian Kollection?

All Saints Wish List
Ok, so this weekend I went into All Saints to find a dress to wear for my birthday, but I ended up coming out with nothing but memories of beautiful clothes that I can no longer afford !
I fluttered from one side of the store to the other with a huge smile on my face, (until I read the price tag) and even tried on some of the clothes that were my favourite, so that I could pretend that they were mine for a small moment of time.
I must have spent all of 15 minutes in the store and had already spent thousands of imaginary pounds !
Here is what I love from All Saints right now:
Biker Trouser - £295
Slip Boot - £155
Elissa Evening Clutch - £95
Ceylan Tee Dress - £70
Bolshevik Tote Bag - £195
Daiaki Shirt Dress - £120
What do you think of the items on my wish list ?
